Taxis in Zurich don't have a specific color, but all have taxi signs on the roof. When the taxi's available, the sign is lit up.

General taxi fares in Zurich

Zurich taxis are relatively expensive compared to other European cities. The initial fare is 8 CHF, and the taximeter then adds 3.80 CHF per kilometer. Most major credit cards are accepted. Tipping is expexted by Zurich taxi drivers, but a small tip will do.
