Finding a taxi in Frankfurt

There are plenty of taxis in Frankfurt, and they can be found at one of the city's 150 designated taxi stands or flagged down in the street.

Frankfurt taxis are all ivory white, with a large roof sign. When the roof light is lit, the taxi´s available.

General taxi fares in Frankfurt

Frankfurt's taxi prices are regulated. The taximeter starts at €2.75, and then adds €1.65 per kilometer. The prices are slightly higher after 10pm.

Most taxis accept credit cards. Tips are not mandatory, but welcome. There is no surcharge for luggage.
